How safe is your job search??

This year alone, over 4 million peoples identity's were stolen from one leading job site!
Online Identity Theft:

What not to include on your ONLINE CV - so the theives do not get you!
-
There is no need for a full address – Town, Country and postcode are enough.
-
No need for DOB – just more information for the criminals!
-
Miss your middle name out – has no bearing on whether you can do the job!
-
Make sure your email address is a ‘professional’ one and ideally only used for job applications – you don’t want it attached to your online banking!!
-
Marital Status is not relevant to employers but is useful to ID Thieves – don’t include it!
-
Do not include: Passport Number,NI Number or any Bank Details.
-
If relevant to the job you are applying for include you have a clean license – but DON’T include your license number.
-
Putting ‘references available on request’ is enough… giving away someone's contact details is not a great way to get a good reference!
